To me, it seems that the lines are clearer this way and jagged where I want it to be. I think I'll say goodbye to the Polygon lasso tool for good now.
For detailing I'm going to rely on the stylus and draw them in myself. I'll just have to find the right brush for it. The one I've been using appears too soft.
Anyway.
Yesterday I got the goods for my new computer--which arrives today via UPS.
New monitor. LG 22" LCD Flat panel. Got some LG speakers w/ woofer to go with it as well as a wireless keyboard / laser mouse.
Tomorrow I'll spend some time reorganizing my studio space again to fit with the new computer plus my Wacom. It's kind of a pain to travel back and forth from my room to the basement to scan my line art and work on it through the tablet. Might as well have everything in one place.
I have the discs with all of the latest graphic programs. Photoshop CS4, Illustrator, Flash, etc.. etc..
Thank god this computer will have XP. My scanner is not compatible with Vista.
Noteworthy:
I'll be turning 25 this week. Why does my birthday have to fall on a Wednesday this year!? Why!? I can't do anything with that. = (
Let's see if I could stage a Summer Bash in the next few weeks when it gets hotter.
