The image below was from last night's class of Creature, Animal and Fantasy Illustration. Our first assignment is coming up with our own Chimera.
(Greek Mythological monstrous creature of Lycia in Asia Minor, composed of the parts of multiple animals. The Chimera was one of the offspring of Typhon and Echidna and a sibling of such monsters as Cerberus and the Lernaean Hydra.)
Anyway... Just prelim sketches. I am already working on a bigger sketch of my "Sickle" Chimera.
This weekend is the MoCCA festival. I'm taking either Saturday or Sunday off from work.
